A richly patinated Antler Handle Bone Pin Awl. These early implements were used as awls. Found in the Steinhatchee River, Florida. Excellent river patina, and stable surfaces. The handle measures 3" long, and the bone pin extends 2 1/2" beyond the  handle, for an overall length of 5 1/2". An awesome assembly from the late Paleo/Early Archaic period.
